Hello and Welcome to Ambush
Bog:
The Greatest Micro Museum in the World!
We are located in the Virtual World, so all tours, lectures and workshops are conducted Virtually. All
animals, artifacts and lecturers are real.
We work with and keep animals and plants which are often overlooked in favor of the more popular ones.
We also have a particular interest in the unusual and uncommon species, which often do not enjoy popularity on the count of
difficulty of their keeping or lack of information about them.
We also provide Common Sense Tutorials on their keeping,
life cycles and other remarkable facts which we have gathered over the years.
Although the main focus of our Museum
is Nature, we are dedicated to promoting a healthy relationship with our environment through reduced use of technology and
increased use of individual skills, talents and Common Sense. Our goal is to empower people to rely on their
own abilities rather than become dependant on the use of technology and, through personal resourcefulness and wit, reduce
waste.
Our Museum has several "Departments":
The Fern Alcove, which houses Ferns, Moses and aquatic
Micro habitats;
The Main Display Hall, which showcases our permanent exhibits;
Two secondary display areas,
and
Two Experimental Plant stations.
We also have free roaming mammals and a breeding pair of Primates.
Our Art
& Craft Studio is currently closed, as the Artist-in-residence has taken a sabbatical to care for her newborn child.
The Compost Station is also undergoing changes, but our chief Master Composter is available to answer questions and offer
advice.
Our library features many rare books on nature, health and arts.
Currently we are undergoing a reconstruction and an inventory overview and will not be offering any educational
services until it is complete. However, we will be adding more written tutorials to this site; please check it
often, since we are still building it.
Thank you for stopping by our Micro Museum!
